About
Alissa Eck
Jewelry Whisperer
Jewelry is in my blood. I hail from the Wolverine State of Michigan, where I earned my chops helping run my parents’ specialty jewelry and antiques gallery. With them I was fortunate in my youth to travel worldwide and discover one-of-a-kind treasures while honing my eye for the rare and exceptional. All this instilled in me admiration for the old as well as new, the classic plus unconventional. Moreover, my upbringing garnered me a diamond-tough work ethic, deep respect for the customer, and passion for superior craftsmanship.
My passion to help people and make an impact in the world brought me to Boston where I earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University. Ultimately my love of jewelry took over as I pursued a career full time. After seven intense years in sales and management at the House of Cartier, I fulfilled my entrepreneurial dream by founding Exclusive Jewels Gallery in Boston.
I also graduated with the coveted Graduate Gemologist diploma from the Gemological Institute of America. Subsequently, I transitioned to my concierge jewelry service anchored in the North Shore, enabling me to provide comparable top standards but with greater flexibility and efficiency. All said, I have been working with jewelry for at least 30 years.
As the Jewelry Whisperer, I offer a unique personalized experience, connecting with clients to reveal jewelry that truly reflects their essence and story. Each piece is carefully curated or crafted to embody joy, meaning, and individuality, epitomizing an extension of who you are.
"My jewelry specialist for over a decade, Alissa has a precious gift for creating, renovating and discovering pieces that have become not just objects, but part of my life. Everything she's found for me has suited perfectly; added to my net worth and made me overwhelmingly happy."
